I hear a single high pitch all the time in my left ear, and I’m sure have hearing loss in both ears.
Will this be an issue of how effective this process is?
Hi there, big apologies for the delayed response. This is a new Q&A forum and the it appears the email notification has not been activated. Anyway …
… I’m audio product engineer with 40 years of exposure to high volume sound systems. I’ve had quite prominent tinnitus in both ears for about 30 years.
My tinnitus condition did not prevent me from developing N.O.W. nor does it prevent me from getting a great deal of benefit from it. The tones of N.O.W. are centered in the midrange (about 192 Hz to 384 Hz) and can clearly be heard below the frequency range of tinnitus signals which are much higher frequency.
In fact, listening to N.O.W. provides an auditory for me me that helps me shift my focus away from the tinnitus whistling (and problematic thoughts) to the pleasant New Origin Waveform tones. Hope this helps! best, Michael
