Hi there, mstuart2, and thanks for your question. It might seem like this is an easy answer, but not exactly. It’s kind of a “maybe” answer.
When N.O.W. was first being conceived and designed, there was a chance it would be an app, or more interactive, or at the least, as hardware, would have ongoing future updates. The more we conceived and the more that we designed, the simpler the actual design and function got–the development of this product was one of the strangest things ever. It kept shaving itself down to an element that seemed entirely unmodern, but still unusual to the modern world. Not old-fashioned, not new either… hmmmm. It is its own thing.
Supposedly modern technology has been made very simple for us these days, but there is a depth of atttachment that is inherent to that simplicity. We become brand-identified, and we are used to being entertained, and we are insatiable in wanting newness and upgrades. This is who we are, and is the norm. So of course we built in the idea that we would add new tones over time, or make upgraded files available. This was the only way, right?
Well… the tones themselves showed otherwise. There is a sort of infinity to the play between the two speakers, with any number of possibilities and combinations–it is one key to releasing your mind into a present experience when you let go of thoughts and listen. But the tones will occassionally echo one another when you least expect it–this is because of how they were developed, and without going into lengthy detail is something that N.O.W. included for itself. It is unpredictable, but capable of waking up consciousness over and over again, and strengthening this consciousness as if you have gone to a Gym of the Universe.
SO: the answer stands at a maybe. N.O.W. is crazily, ridiculously perfect and complete as it stands, but if a shift is meant to happen, we won’t miss it. We’ll know if there is anything to be added. Meanwhile, we encourage continued listening, as regularly as possible, to the tones as they present themselves to you; they will give an individual, new experience each time. And each time your mind will probably wander a bit, and then each time you will have a chance to re-engage with the tones that are playing for you in the space you are in.
It’s more marvelous than anything. And, I’ll again say, strange. But trust what they have to offer for now, because it will make all the difference. I promise.
And stay in touch! We are happy to hear from you.
